This interactive piece is a life-size Academic Award trophy base engraved with the words “Best Actor”. The word “actor” is often aligned with being fake, but aren’t we all trying to be the better version of ourselves to others? This piece challenges how people view the verb “to act”. It provides a respite to hard times, where anyone who steps up is elevated for who they are, in whatever role they choose.
